TAROT

So what is Tarot? Essentially it is a set of cards that have been used over the centuries to guess the future, uncover hidden truths and more recently used as a tool for self-discovery and to help UNDERSTAND YOURSELF.

As a set of cards they are full of beautiful symbolism that really mirrors the life of the person looking at them. Why is this? Because the Tarot is a collection of archetypes and experiences and stories that mirror everybody’s lives.

Because of these archetypal experiences that are common for all of us, they make the Tarot cards easy to read and appealing for a wide audience.

Split into two parts, the 78 cards of the Tarot are made up of 22 major arcana cards, and then 56 minor arcana cards. The major arcana represent the major archetypal events of a person’s life, whilst the minor arcana represent the more day to day experiences that we go through.

A mixture of alchemy, psychology, astrology, numerology, Kabballah, Christian mysticism, eastern philosophy and many esoteric traditions the Tarot can appeal to everyone and looks to act as a mirror for the soul.

The Tarot speaks in a universal language of a variety of archetypal symbols. Each card is a mixture of symbols, images a name and a number which have specific meanings.

A reader helps the person consulting the cards to identify and interpret what the cards are saying and how they can help use them for self-development, growth and ultimately how to UNDERSTAND YOURSELF.
