THE FITFAM IS ALL ABOUT SOCIAL HEALTH

We’re social creatures - one thing we all certainly learnt from ‘lockdowns’ was the detrimental effect that isolation had on our wellness.

Our FitFam is a great way to connect and form some great relationships spanning over different platforms in both the real world and the virtual world.

Social Health makes up one of the pillars of wellness that helps us stay healthy and well.

Being a valued member of any group is great for the individual and the group as a collective!

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Here at Sobey Fitness, we believe that group exercise classes are great! they make working out fun, friendly and affordable!!

We’re all social creatures and working out together is a great boost to our social health.

Our FaceTime Fitness is our online classes, and you can join in with those in real life with our Hybrid Programme.

Urban Gym is our Outdoor Workout and Brute Camp is our indoor version of it!

We can also be found in some of the health clubs and leisure centres around Plymouth town!

PUMP

Sculpt and tone your body with a high-intensity PUMP workout, focused on low weight and high repetition movements. Burning about 550 calories in an hour.

Weekend Wakeup Workout

A great way to start the weekend - or anytime of the day! a mixture of cardio-vascular exercise with some whole body weght resistance training.

SHIIT

Exclusively from Sobey Fitness, our High-Intensity Interval Training workouts are a mixture of dynamic cutting edge exercises with the latest in fitness trends and thinking. Each session is slightly different but follows our magic formula to change your fitness levels. Burns 500 calories in 30 minutes.

BODY CONDITIONING

Using old skool aerobics with new skool tunes and moves we utilise body weight and bands to shape and strengthen your body. Burns over 500 calories in 45 minutes.

COMBAT

A high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories in a class. No experience is needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.

YOGA/PILATES & YOGALATES

A whole-body workout series designed to re-align your structure, correct your posture, engage your core control and stretch and strengthen your limbs.

KIDS KICKBOXING

A fitness based and games infused martial arts program for 4 yr olds and above. Using traditional martial arts structure with modern world thinking and current best practice to build self worth in our children. Check our KIDS KICKBOXING page for more info.

SCULPT

Suitable for all, this low impact class takes elements from Power Yoga and Pilates and introduces small controlled movements to find the 'hot spot' in the muscles for that 'burn' feeling to improve core and muscle strength.
